Connect Instagram and Facebook

Facebook didn't share any Page with Samsūtra. Usually you tapped Continue, and Facebook kept an old choice with no Page in it.

1. Tap Try again on that page, or Connect Facebook Page in the app.
2. Tap Edit previous settings, not Continue.
3. Tick your shop's Page, and its business if Facebook asks. Keep every permission on and tap Save.

Still the same? On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (open it), find Samsutra and tap Remove. Then connect again from the app. Do this from your own profile, not while you're using Facebook as your Page. Meta's steps

No Page yet? Create one for your shop. It's free.

• Wrong Facebook account. You're logged in as someone who doesn't manage the Page. See Wrong account.
• No full control. Facebook lists only Pages where you have Facebook access with full control (on older Pages, the Admin role). See Someone else made our Page.
• The Page belongs to a business in Meta Business Suite. When Facebook asks about businesses, tick that business too.

Ask them to give you Facebook access with full control. They do it in the Page's settings, under Page access, and you accept from the notification or email Facebook sends. Meta's steps

Or let them tap Connect Facebook Page on your phone and log in with their own Facebook account. Posting then keeps working only while they still manage the Page.

Instagram lets apps post only to Business and Creator accounts. Switching is free and keeps your posts and followers.

1. In Instagram, open your profile and tap ☰.
2. Tap Account type and tools (on some phones, Settings → Account), then Switch to professional account.
3. Pick a category, choose Business, and finish.

A private account becomes public when you switch. Meta's steps

• Wait for our notification, "Accept Samsūtra's Instagram invite". Until then there's nothing to accept.
• Open instagram.com/accounts/manage_access in your phone's browser and log in with the account you sent us. Open Tester invites and tap Accept.
• Sent the wrong username? In the app, tap Change next to it and send the right one. We'll invite that one.

The login opens in your browser, which isn't logged in like the apps. Tap Forgot password? on the login page, and Instagram or Facebook sends a code or link to your phone or email. Or start here: Instagram · Facebook.

Your browser remembers the last account. Log out there, then tap Connect again in Samsūtra:

• Facebook: open facebook.com in your browser, open the menu and tap Log out.
• Instagram: open instagram.com in your browser, open the menu and tap Log out.

Instagram or Facebook stopped Samsūtra's access. This happens when you change your password, remove Samsutra in their settings, or lose access to the Page. Open My Shop → Auto-post and tap Reconnect.

The post shows ✗ for that place, with Retry. Tap Retry. If it fails again, the post says why; most often you need to reconnect. Remember, posts go out only after you tap Approve.

• You log in on Instagram's or Facebook's own page, so Samsūtra never sees your password.
• Samsūtra posts only what you approve, and only to the account and Page you connect.
• Facebook also asks for access to your business. Samsūtra uses it only to find your Page when it's managed in Meta Business Suite.
• We keep the access key encrypted, and you can disconnect any time.

• In Samsūtra: My Shop → Auto-post → Disconnect. This also deletes the access key we keep.
• In Instagram: Apps and websites (open it) → Samsutra → Remove.
• In Facebook: Settings → Business integrations (open it) → Samsutra → Remove.

No app can: WhatsApp gives apps no way to post a Status, and apps that claim to do it get numbers banned. So it's one tap. After you approve, tap WhatsApp Status on the post, then My status → Send.
